Not just the controversy surrounding the alleged fake Apollo landings, the moon is quite a mysterious, fascinating enigma. It may come as quite a surprise to some that a number of historians, many acting independently, have been told by certain groups of people that their ancient ancestors had left them accounts of life on Earth before the Moon existed.
The claim that there was a time before the Moon existed has been well-documented. These historical accounts during ancient times can be traditionally found from groups in countries such as Columbia and Greece. Each country didn’t know that other countries had this same knowledge.
There’s even biblical evidence somewhat concealed in Genesis, suggesting that the moon came later. -During the creation, the moon doesn’t come into existence until the 4th day, after life was created…
The Greek ancient historic accounts refer to the Proselenes, a group of people who mainly lived in the mountainous region of Arcadia, Greece. Proselenes literally means “before the moon.”
Philosophers such as Aristotle and Plutarch gave accounts of the Arcadian Proselenes, claiming that these folks lived before the Moon. So did Apollonius, referring to a time when “all the orbs were not yet in the Heavens…” –There are other similar accounts…
Thousands of miles away from Greece, not having any contact with the Greeks, ancient groups located near Bogota, Columbia, known as the Chibcha people (Muisca), also gave the same ancient accounts, that there was a time when the moon did not exist.
The giant-impact hypothesis (aka whack theory)
Scientists posit that the moon formed around 4.5 billion years when a body the size of Mars called Theia smashed into Earth. The vast masses of material from this collision then went into orbit which eventually came together to form the moon.

However, the giant-impact hypothesis doesn’t go by unchallenged:
The chemical compositions of Earth and moon rocks are virtually identical. Both Earth and moon rocks have identical oxygen isotopes, same titanium balances and very similar trace-element compositions…
Considering that the moon was said to have been formed from 2 different planetary bodies smashing into each other, then the consequences of their debris coming together to form the moon should indicate 2 different chemical compositions. The moon should have a chemical composition consistent with the earth’s makeup and another, different type, attributed to the colliding body that had come from far, far away…
Inconsistencies in the physical properties
There are a said number of anomalies with the physical properties of the moon, making it difficult for scientists to reach an agreement. Here are some of those anomalies:
*The moon is the only satellite in the solar system that produces a total solar eclipse. When viewed from Earth, do you really think that this total solar eclipse just happens by pure chance??
*When comparing the near and far sides of the moon, it has been found that they are completely different to one another. The visible from Earth near-side has a thin crust with volcanic planes, which can be observed without a telescope. The far side (dark side) has a thick crust. -These structural differences have never been explained.
*When comparing mantles (interiors between the crust and the core), the moon’s mantle density is way less than Earth’s. -Why does the moon’s interior have so much less mass than expected?
*There was the incident when the Apollo 12 lunar module was sent crashing into the moon’s surface. This crash caused the moon to make a ringing sound for the best part of an hour. The same thing happened with Apollo 13. This time, the Apollo 13 produced a ringing sound for 3 hours. Astrogeologists recording these noises on impacts described the sounds made as “ringing like a bell.”
*From this “ringing like a bell” data, Soviet scientists Mikhail Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov went on with their research to formulate the “Spaceship Moon” hypothesis, claiming that the moon is an alien ship…
-Some people may be having a hard time with this claim. However, the supporting research puts forward that the moon is an unnatural object: It is more likely to be a hollow constructive shell rather than a naturally formed rock.
Remember, the “ringing like a bell” description and low density suggestion is consistent with the moon as a hollow object rather than a solid mass.
*The asymmetry between the near and far sides suggests that there had been modifications to the moon’s overall structure.
*The idea of hidden underground advanced alien life on Earth or near-space environments, such as the moon, have been taken seriously by the likes of Harvard researchers Tim Lomas and Brendan Case. -They published a paper in relation to this in 2024.
Although we can’t see what’s going on underground, has advanced alien life been with us and on the moon since time-immemorial?
Transient lunar phenomena (TLP)

Earth is slowing down due to the presence of the moon.
Earth’s seas experience tidal pulls, causing an energy transfer. As this happens, Earth’s rotation is slowed down, causing the moon to get very slowly pushed away. The moon is moving away from us here on Earth at the rate of roughly 3.8 centimeters each year.
-Consider this in terms of the opposite: Thus, many, many years going back in time, the moon was much closer. The tides would have been far greater then, than they are today.
Also, the days would have been much shorter. Through the study of fossils and data derived from eclipses, researchers estimated that an average day on Earth lasted 18 hours, a billion years ago. Researchers went on to posit that an average day on Earth was only about 6 hours before the moon existed…
Earth’s stability
Without the moon, not only was the day shorter, tides greater, the sky different, so were the seasons. -A lot less stable on Earth, as the ancients, such as the Greek Proselenes and Columbian Chibcha people would have experienced the effects.
Care of the moon, our Earth is held at a stable rotation of 23.5 degrees. This grants long-term stability, predictable conditions, giving rise to sustainable agriculture as civilizations develop…
Finally
The moon does not provide very convincing evidence that it is merely a satellite. There are many challenges that have not satisfied the challengers about its existence.
So, to answer the question regarding the moon; “Guess who saw it placed there?” -The answer is the ancients, such as the Greek Proselenes and Columbian Chibcha people.
Remember, earlier in this article, researchers have seriously considered the moon to be a place where underground alien life is and has been living there for a very long time.
After all, if an advanced off-world civilization placed the moon where it is, might they still be there?
