DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has recently launched what has been described by some as a sinister biotechnology project: “Generative Optogenetics” GO, a high-risk initiative, but claimed to be high reward project, engineered for producing intricately controlled light-burst signals that cause targeted and impacted living cells to write DNA and RNA.
Described by DARPA as the “massless information transfer” it enables genetic material to be synthesized within hours through the light-burst signals, unlike lab-based genetic sequencing methodologies that take days.
As DARPA claims:
“GO aims to create a molecular machine that can be expressed in living cells and provide a mechanism for transducing genetic information transmitted masslessly via optical signals into the nucleic acid sequences (DNA and/or RNA).”
No physical contact or genetic material needed to be delivered, the idea of having a computer-based system remotely transmitting genetic instructions through light bursts, targeting and impacting living cells to write DNA and RNA sequences may sound quite innovative and convenient.
DARPA further points out that “No existing technology enables massless information transfer to relay genetic instructions to living cells.”
In other words, as it is done remotely, this technology does away with the limitations of distance in terms of reliance on close proximity, physical intervention or dependence on natural biological systems needing genetic temples for gene expression.
As explained by DARPA the GO technology capability enables:
“……. a direct interface between computers used to design genetic sequences and living cells that operate on those sequences.”
With GO technology there will be no need to deliver genetic material into a body. Instead, exact nucleic-acid sequences making up DNA and/or RNA can be synthesized optically using beams of light that strike the body at specific timed wavelengths.
Military exploitation
-Could this new biotechnology be used as a weaponized delivery system on humans? It certainly suggests parallels with technologies considered for military exploitation.
DARPA, an R&D agency within the Pentagon’s Department of War, have been known to use secret weapons technologies on the public as well as surveillance tools.
As test guinea pigs, terrorized members of the public have been subjected to DARPA’s directed energy weapons technology from hidden remote locations.
As revealed by whistle blowers such as ex-CIA engineer Robert Duncan. This includes gang stalking, psychotronics, military grade 6G radiation currently in development and other usages whereby the weapons technologies are directed on victims to alter their physical and mental states to modify behavior. This has been going on for quite some time and could lead to the death of a targeted individual.
Other courageous whistle blowers with their brave activism in the campaign to expose this harmful technology include the likes of scientist Dr. Nick Begich, Dr. Daniel Lebowitz, Oxford physics PhD Katherine Horton, Sarina Wallace and ex-security expert Brian Kofron. These technologies can be hidden behind national legislation…
Will this new biotech be another addition to DARPA’s armory of assault weapons by altering DNA or RNA. Could, for example, genetic mutations be made to cause cancer fatality in targeted individuals, such as those unjustly declared enemies of the state…? What other fatal illnesses could GO biotechnology cause through deliberate manufactured mutagenic effects on the cells of targeted individuals when weaponized?
Beneficial claims
In the early stages of development, there have not yet been any public announcements claiming milestone advancements in the GO technology. However, there are a number of objectives within the program giving rise to beneficial claims when completed.
Announced in December 2025, DARPA made the assurance that they would continue their investments with innovative biomedical technologies for the intention of transforming medicine through biotechnology production and manufacture. There were further interests with biotechnology for the purposes of national security.
They were alluding to the development of the high-risk initiative, but claimed to be high reward GO technology project, enabling unparalleled control over the behavior of live cells through its, as already mentioned, genetic sequencing technology made possible by optical signaling… Further soon to be announcements have been scheduled.
DARPA States in so many words that this new GO programmable biotechnology when developed can be used to transform not only medicine, but also agriculture and manufacturing. Light sensors will trigger live cells to initiate specific DNA or RNA building blocks on demand…
They claim that medicine could be personalized. Through information collected on an individual patient, specific genetic instructions through remote programing could be directed for health and wellness. Remember, it has been said that this process, for example, the novel treatment of disease, can happen much faster than traditional forms of gene therapy, as there is no physical delivery involved.
