CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) research tells us that around 40% of U.S. American adults are affected by obesity. As a response to tackle this obesity epidemic, president Trump tells us that he has recently made a “landmark deal.”
He reached an agreement with Big Pharma Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, manufacturers of widespread weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy to lower their costs for Medicare cover. Commencing in 2026, this will broaden Medicare’s coverage.
On the surface, it looks as if Trump has given welfare to help the 40% of U.S citizens with obesity problems by subsidizing the costs of their weight-loss drugs. However, in actuality, he has, in effect, given welfare directly to Big Pharma fat cats by paying them $35 billion for their weight-loss drugs!
Around a hundred members in congress have put their hands up to supporting and funding these weight-loss drugs, such as Ozempic, in conjunction with Medicare, costing $1500 a month. These majority members of congress have received payments from the respective Big Pharma manufacturers (favors for favors).
Further, that means Trump has added $35 billion to the U.S National debt. -Another piece of evidence proving that the U.S. government has no intention of paying off the national debt. Not ever. The U.S. national debt recently reached a staggering $38 trillion.
-There are other criticisms in response to this “landmark deal.” Consider it in relation to MAHA (Make America Healthy Again), how it will be affected:
Once these drugs are approved for Medicare they then go on to also be accepted for Medicaid. Medicaid differs in that it provides financial assistance to those of all ages in need. This means, for example, that there will a push to get children as young as 6 years old on these drugs to treat their obesity…
Obesity treatable by natural health approaches
The U.S. government doesn’t pay enough attention to the fact that obesity can be successfully reversed using natural approaches. These approaches involve changes in lifestyle. Changes to dietary habits and more exercise.
Trump and his administration should be pushing these things if they really cared about healthcare, but they’ve been shamelessly bribed. The same can be said about the medical academic institutions, lawyers and the mainstream media who are also on the Big Pharma payroll.
Did you know that Big Pharma gave Trump $100 million during his inauguration party? And it didn’t stop at that.
-Remember, obesity was seldom heard of only a hundred years back in time…
Not to do with the obesity problem, but back in the day, on similar lines, Obama, when president, did a similar thing: With Obamacare, he donated mega-bucks to Big Pharma and insurance companies…
As MAHA boss RFK Jr. (Robert Kennedy Jr.) said in so many words, if these overweight people take their prescription weight loss drugs such as Ozempic the costs incurred will run up to $3 trillion in a year.
The above-mentioned Danish company Novo Nordisk, have become massive due to the sales of their weight-loss drug Ozempic. Ironically, the Danish government flatly refuses to recommend Ozempic, but recommends natural approaches.
Further, in relation to the costs, RFK Jr. goes on to say that “…for half the price we could provide every American 3 meals per day of organic regenerative farming and still have enough money left over to include membership to the gym for obese Americans”
-Let that one sink in! RFK Jr. is in effect calling out the opportunity for a nation-wide bipartisan transformation of the health of America people.
Dangerous side-effects
Firstly, before going on about the known side-effects of Ozempic consider this.
Ozempic and Wegovy weight-loss pills will drop in price from $1,000 and $1350 respectively, to $350 if bought via the TrumpRx.gov website, planned to be launched in January 2026. Trump has commented on the plans to make other drugs cheaper at a later date.
Do these drugs really encourage weight-loss? Might they do the opposite? They may give the mentality to some that goes in the way of “These pills will have the effect of lowering my weight so I can now eat more food and they are cheaper!”
You may be one of those people complaining about obese people now that your tax dollars are being used to subsidize them.
These weight-loss pills are known to have a number of dangerous side-effects.
Side-effects include heart attacks, type-2 diabetes, blindness, bowel injury, intestinal blockage, gastroparesis (chronic failure of the stomach muscles to function properly causing food to empty too slowly, or not at all)…
(*Note: Oh, I love it when these Big Pharma companies call them drug “side effects.” NO! They ARE effects.)
-The list goes on, so do the accompanying lawsuits filed against the Big Pharma companies responsible.

Finally
Money they don’t have, the Trump administration has given $35 billion dollars in welfare to billionaires (Big Pharma).
Remember, RFK Jr. commented that “…for half the price we could provide every American 3 meals per day of organic regenerative farming and still have enough money left over to include membership to the gym for obese Americans”
He also talked about transformation of health for the U.S., but sadly, the government has no incentive to make this happen with natural health and organic farming procedures that could potentially transform the healthiness and well-being of every man, woman and child.
-That’s because they’re too busy in bed with Big Pharma.
It needs to be made illegal for any Congress member (spouses included) to take money from any company/lobbyist. Period.
